For a Philips VIP event, CREATE was asked to create 2 panorama screens of 30m * 5m and a front projection on the stage of 8m by 3m. Also we had to create the content for the 30 min show, where Philips wants to give a showcase of their new innovating product. For this job, we used 6 Pandora’s Boxes, 10 Panasonic 6000 Lumens projector and a Christie Full HD 8000 lumens projector.

testsetupThe tricky part in creating the content was that the videos and images for the two panorama screens had to have a resolution of 5120px over 768px. Luckily, Philips provided us with a lot of high-resolution images, that we transformed into professional videos.
For each panorama screen, we used 5 projectors and 3 media servers. Each projector showed an image of 1024px by 768px. For the final video rendering, we had to cut the total video into 3 parts, each with 256px overlap to make the soft edge blend.

multiscreen edge blend

The middle video had a resolution of 2560px by 768px, larger than full HD! All movies had to be rendered in mpeg-format, for proper playing on the Coolux media servers. Therefore, we had to do some research to find the right codec. Most mpeg-codecs do not allow resolutions over 1920px * 1080px.

All 6 servers were controlled with a GrandMA Light Controller for a proper synced video show.

CREATE @ EIBTM 2010

For the third year we were present at EIBTM 2010. Together with ASP Bluesquare we shared a stand in the technology village.

EIBTM is Europe’s largest tradeshow for the MICE business, CREATE was present as a supplier for multimedia and AV technology. We support events all over Europe with basic or advanced setups.

Our interactive ePoster system was a big hit in the technology village. For many medical and scientific conferences the ePosters are an innovative solution to bring more attention to the poster sessions.

We also showed some holografic iwindow screens and multi-touch solutions.

Have a look at the video underneath:

A 60 inch holographic iWindow touchscreens was the eye catcher on the Electrolux booth at Sici fair in Madrid, 2010. The iWindow holoscreen showed a 3D kitchen configurator where users can design there own dream kitchen. The iWindow holoscreen is a real eyecatcher for tradeshows, true minority report comes to life.

The iWindow was that successful, that the Spanish National TV did a live show from the Electrolux booth!

All this fancy hardware was installed and configured by our qualified technicians.
