The Eucomed MedTech Forum is the largest health and medical technology industry conference in Europe.
The event brings together over 400 thought leaders active in the EU healthcare scene, including policymakers, scientific communities, patients' representatives, healthcare professionals, academics and the medtech industry.
In partnership with our friends at NEXT, we took care of the mobile development of this application.
Cross-platform mobile
The application runs cross-platform. There is a version for iOs, Android and a mobile website. The mobile app shows a complete overview of the conference: speakers, programme, social activities, .... This is all powered by an online CMS system, so it's easy to add or update content.
The app runs offline and syncs the data when internet becomes available, so no annoying waiting times when the network is laggy.
Ask the speaker
For this conference we custom developed an "ask the speaker" feature, this allows participants to ask questions by using the mobile app. The questions are moderated by the panel and shown on the screen. This feature was a great tool for interactive discussions during the sessions. A moderated Twitter wall application showed the latest tweets on the screen.
